How we put advice together.
Our approach to sources, humane care, corrections and clear limits.
Questions from real life; care principles from reliable sources.
Public discussions help us understand what owners find confusing. Comments are individual experiences, not clinical evidence. We check care principles against veterinary organisations and established animal-welfare charities, including AVSAB, Dogs Trust and Blue Cross.
Practical and proportionate.
We separate general care guidance from original planning examples. We do not diagnose, prescribe treatments or promise a universal timetable. Advice must allow for the dog’s age, health, environment and individual response.
Authorship and review.
Articles are published under the brand’s editorial name. No veterinary credential or external medical review is implied. Each guide includes sources and a source-check date. We update material when we identify a substantive error or relevant change; dates are not refreshed merely to appear recent.
Commercial transparency.
We sell our own digital resources through Gumroad. Free tools and articles can be used without buying the bundle. Stock photographers and organisations linked as references do not endorse our products. There are no paid testimonials or fabricated user counts on this site.
Corrections welcome.
Email thegooddognotebook@estorealm.com with the page URL, the concern and a supporting source where possible. We also welcome reports of broken tools or accessibility barriers.
